This is the farthest northwest you can get in the continental US. The endpoint overlooks the Strait Of Juan De Fuca where it meets the Pacific. There are whales there, although we didn't see any when we were there. The trail is not too hard. Lots of stairs & wooden boardwalk. Parking is easy to get to.
