WebMay 31, 2002 · These WBS grain jars were PC'd for 3.5 Hours. SWIM knocked them with Agar from TPE6 MSS on 3/30. Other jar's look milky and fluffy like the one section on this jar. On the other side of this jar is thin, wispy growth that kind of looks like myc but very thin, like cotton candy, shitty cotton candy...or cob webs. I don't know. Some people prefer rhizo growth because I think rhizo leads to more pins (idk ifs that’s been proven), but I don’t think it makes a big difference. When it comes to agar transfers, just try to isolate a monoculture that grows the fastest.

All the recipes I've used have called for LME. I thought that was ideal, but mine seem to turn out fuzzy. This dish in particular looks like it's growing a wig.
