I have been farming Maldraxxus for several weeks … WebbThey have the highest drop chance, focus on those and you should get it fairly quickly. From memory I got it in ToP in the first couple weeks before M+ opened up. Run heroic/mythic and make sure you look the mobs and you should pick it up. You say you’re playing with your dad.
